POS for Bangkok bars and nightlife.
Most Thai POS systems were built for restaurants and bolted on bar features. Posly was built around a working Bangkok bar from day one.
Bar-shaped flow, not restaurant-shaped
- Quick bar sale. No table or covers prompt - bartender taps drinks, customer pays, done.
- Walk-up rounds. Open tabs across multiple rounds, split by seat or by item, settle at the end.
- Late-night business-day cutoff. A bar that closes at 02:00 sees the night's sales rolled into the right day, not split across midnight.
- Bar + kitchen tickets. Drinks fire to the bar printer, food fires to the kitchen, both with course dividers.
- Comp + void taxonomy. Made / not-made distinction so VOID_MADE bleeds inventory but VOID_NOT_MADE doesn't.
- Open discount. PIN + reason logging for staff drinks, regulars and gestures.
Bangkok-specific essentials
- PromptPay slip verification. Customer scans, pays, uploads the slip, Posly verifies via SlipOK and closes the table.
- Thai tax invoices. Abbreviated and full, branch number, configurable threshold.
- Bilingual EN/TH. Foreign manager + Thai staff, both fluent in the till.
- Thai SSO HR. Social Security with employer-covers override per employee, password-protected payslip PDFs.
